Gamblers
I work at the local Tavern as a Bartender/Waitress/Gaming Attendant/Generalallroundshittaker.
Hey, It’s a job! I should be greatful, considering I live in an area which is recorded to have the highest rate of unemployment in Australia. I am greatful for that.
I am also greatful to tippers!
Oh, how I love people who tip ^.^
This brings me to the point of this blog.
Tell me why are there so little of these generous people whom tip?
Tell me why these punters bring doughstacks of $50 & $100 notes in EVERY bloody day…and cant tip a lonesome $20, $10, $5 or even that measly amount of change they so kindly couldnt bother to gamble in order to make a nice rounded whole figure before they decide to hit “collect.”
Like they’d even miss it on a good day when they’re pulling $500 from every machine they care to plant they’re lazy ass on.
Fair enough if you’ve worked your ass off for that money…but oh wait, I forgot… Pushing buttons requires so much muscle and brain power. It must really leave them mentally and physically drained by the end of the day!
Yet they have absolutely no problem grabbing handfuls of complimentary toasties & muffins, hassling you for a coffee or beer every 5 minutes, using the drink coasters for everything BUT their drink, leaving lollie wrappers/muffin wrappers/empty ciggarette packets and half eaten toasties in between the machine… or bringing their endless $100 & $50 to the counter for you to split while your trying to do multiple payouts…No worries! there is just a bill splitting machine situated in a clearly accessible area of the room for their convenience. I could go on forever. But i’d be here all night.
I always try and tip at least $5. I dont make alot…but even that little bit of money can make such a difference! God, I know it does for me anyway.
Moral of the story: Always tip. It WILL be appreciated.
haha, no one will even read this -.-
